Kindergarten Greetings! Today we begin the last week of our online school. I can’t tell you how much I have appreciated your dedication and participation during this unprecedented time! Parents, the way in which you have become your student’s school teacher speaks volumes about how much you love them! What a brilliant example you have set FOR them, by requiring the kinders to keep learning, even when the weeks went on ….and on!!! I am in awe of you! Students, I so appreciate how you have kept working and learning at home, even if there were times that you did not want to!! Bravo!!!!!!!! When you look back at this time, you can be very proud! This week I am going to give you a bit more choice in your assignments. Remember that you have 1 last homework pass that you can use for an assignment of your choice.
Religion: We have 3 chapters left in our packet. Each day this week, you may select 1 page to complete. (Front and back) Some pages will just be reading, some may have drawing, some have booklets to be made. Every day, choose to do a page that is meaningful for you.
Reading: Follow the directions at the bottom of pages 17 and 18. For page 19, we will not have the CD to listen to, but your child can still write a plural word that makes sense. Now, read the final story “The Superkids Album” on pages 20 to 23.
Writing: Letter K: If I were king of the world I would ______________________. (You have 2 days to complete this story)
Math: We have a few review pages left in our packet. Each day this week, choose a page that is a good review for you. (You only have to do 1 side of a page if it is double sided.)
Just for fun: 1. Build an indoor or an outdoor obstacle course. 2. Get outside and play with sidewalk chalk. 3. Set up at toy wash. A sink, or bath of water and some toys are all you need. (Add some soap for fun.) 4. Look outside your window and find 5 things God created. Why is each of these things important?
